Medieval Okayama samurai warriors (Okayama sengoku busho-tai)
Meet the various characters from the Ukita Clan, the ruling family during Okayama’s medieval Warring States period, all dressed in magnificent Japanese armor. Gou Hime (Princess Gou) is the only female in this story and is the fourth daughter of Toshiie Maeda. She was married to Hideie Ukita, who was selected as one of the Council of Five Elders for the famous warlord Hideyoshi. This performance is enlivened with dance, skits, talks about the Warring States period, armor demonstrations, a kimono dressing experience, and time-slip commemorative photos.
